The mission and main purpose for Habitat for Humanity is to build houses for low income families living in Navarro County. Weekly workdays are scheduled by our Construction Chairman, with labor coordinated by our Volunteer Coordinator. Individuals are always welcome to join us! Construction will begins October 2015, on our 10th home!
We will begin construction on 13th Avenue in 2015. This land was given to Habitat for Humanity of Navarro County by the decendents of the Bunert Family. We will be able to construct at least six homes in this area.
Through the generosity of the City of Corsicana and Corsicana ISD, we were given this land to develop a community of Habitat homes. There are seven homes located on Gioia Circle, named for Gioia Keeney - who was a community driven volunteer, serving many organizations in Navarro County.
