Application for Housing

 

A family seeking partnership with the Navarro Habitat has to meet certain criteria to be eligible. The only pre-application screening is based on verifying 1. the family lives in Navarro County and  2. they meet income requirements (based on Navarro County average income and family size). If the applicant falls in the correct guidelines, they are eligible to complete a full application. The Family Selection committee reviews all completed applications looking at the areas of Need, Ability to Pay and Willingness to Partner (for example, performing "sweat equity" hours and attending workshops regarding home ownership.)

Our Open Application Period runs the first six weeks of the year, generally from January 1st through mid-February.  Applications may be picked up from our office, located at 101 N. 14th St., Corsicana, TX 75110 (in St. John's Church).
