Eat and Skeet 2011 (Skeet Shoot Fundraiser)On the weekend of June 17 (Friday evening) and June 18 (Saturday, beginning in the morning) Habitat for Humanity of Navarro County will be holding our First Annual Eat and Skeet Fundraiser.

For a donation of $18 to Habitat for Humanity of Navarro County you will receive this lovely hardback cookbook, which contains nearly 500 recipes submitted by members of our community.

June 4th 2011 - Dedication for Habitat House #5!The dedication for the Navarro Habitat House #5 (Address: 300 Gioia Circle) will take place on Saturday, June 4th at 10:00AM. This newest addition to the Gioia Circle neighborhood was built using modern insulation techniques that will significantly bring down utility cost.
Haiti Earthquake Help Requested!In an Emergency Bulletin Habitat for Humanity International is asking for donations and support for the victims of the earthquake in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Navarro Habitat is the official web site for Habitat for Humanity of Navarro County, Inc. We are an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. The Navarro County branch of Habitat for Humanity International was founded in 2005, we started building our first house in 2006 and completed it in 2007. Project 2 was completed in June 2008, and we will soon be starting with Project 3, on lots donated by the City of Corsicana.
Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. HFHI seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need.
Habitat has built more than 250,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1 million people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter. HFHI was founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller along with his wife, Linda.
